whitney: book value goes up, fundamental unchanged

That’s what going to happen in the near future with the change in the accounting rule (mark to market) announced by FASB recently.

In this video, Maria keeps trying to spin what Whitney is saying into an optimistic view of the banks.

My take away from this interview is really that fundamental remains unchanged and this whole accounting rule change is just to make to banks look healthier on the surface than they really are.
